Eleven consultant specialties. One coordinated hospital.

Medical Specialties

Deeper expertise for conditions that need more than a general examination — from the heart to the kidneys, the nerves to the skin.

What are medical specialties?

Medical specialties are distinct branches of medicine in which physicians undergo advanced, focused training to diagnose, manage, and treat conditions affecting a specific organ system, body function, or patient group.

Where a general practitioner provides broad, first-line care, a specialist goes deeper — using specialized knowledge, diagnostic tools, and treatment protocols specific to their field.

At Well Clinic, our specialties work alongside one another and with the surgical and emergency departments to deliver comprehensive, coordinated care. A single patient may see multiple specialists during one admission, each contributing their expertise to a unified treatment plan.

Specialist consultation at Well Clinic

Why it matters

Complex disease deserves more than a general examination.

Diabetes, kidney disease, heart failure, autoimmune disorders — these conditions are multifaceted, chronic, and unforgiving of delayed or approximate diagnosis. Specialist care means earlier recognition, targeted treatment, fewer complications, and better long-term outcomes.

For patients at Well Clinic, having multiple specialties under one roof means seamless referrals, shared records, and integrated management — without the burden of chasing care across separate facilities.

Our specialties

Eleven disciplines, working as one.

Four we’ll spend time with in depth — cardiology, neurology, pulmonology and gastroenterology — followed by a quieter index of seven more that round out our consultant coverage.

Cardiology
01Cardiology

The heart and the circulation that keeps every other organ alive.

Common conditions include hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvar heart disease, and cardiomyopathy.

Our cardiology unit offers ECG, echocardiography, Holter monitoring, and stress testing, alongside specialist management of both acute and chronic cardiac conditions. We work hand-in-hand with ICU and surgical teams when intervention is required.

Neurology
02Neurology

The brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves — movement, sensation, cognition, speech.

We manage stroke, epilepsy, migraine disorders, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, neuropathy and dementia.

Our neurology unit offers consultant appointments, nerve conduction studies, and long-term management of chronic neurological disease, with direct neurosurgical referral pathways when surgery is indicated.

Pulmonology
03Pulmonology

Respiratory medicine — every breath, every exchange of oxygen.

Asthma, COPD, pneumonia, pulmonary fibrosis, obstructive sleep apnea, tuberculosis, and lung cancer screening sit at the core of our pulmonology service.

We provide spirometry, oxygen therapy assessment, airway and allergy management, and inpatient care for acute respiratory illness. Our team also supports the ICU with respiratory management of critically ill patients.

Gastroenterology
04Gastroenterology

The full digestive tract — esophagus to colon, liver to pancreas.

We treat GERD, peptic ulcers, IBS, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, hepatitis, cirrhosis, and screen for colorectal cancer.

Services include outpatient consultation, diagnostic endoscopy (upper GI and colonoscopy), liver function assessment, and joint care with our surgical team for cases requiring operative intervention.

Seven more, in brief

The rest of our consultant bench.

Nephrology

05

The kidneys — fluid balance, waste filtration, blood-pressure control. We manage chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, nephrotic syndrome, hypertensive kidney damage and renal failure, with dialysis coordination and transplant referral pathways.

Rheumatology

06

Joints, muscles, bones and the immune system. Our rheumatology clinic handles rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, fibromyalgia and osteoporosis — with autoimmune panels, disease-modifying therapy, biologics and physiotherapy referrals.

Endocrinology

07

The glands and hormones regulating metabolism, growth and reproduction. We run comprehensive metabolic workups for diabetes, thyroid disorders, PCOS, adrenal and pituitary conditions, including insulin initiation and long-term hormonal management.

Hematology

08

Blood, bone marrow and the lymphatic system. We evaluate anemias (including sickle cell), leukemia, lymphoma, hemophilia and clotting disorders — offering bone marrow evaluation, transfusion support and anticoagulation management, with oncology partnerships for malignant disease.

Dermatology

09

Skin, hair, nails and mucous membranes — the body’s largest organ and a visible indicator of overall health. Our clinic provides skin examinations, patch testing, biopsies, wound care, and management of eczema, psoriasis, acne, alopecia and suspicious lesions.

Psychiatry

10

Mental, emotional and behavioral health treated with the same seriousness as any other medical condition. We offer confidential outpatient consultations, psychiatric assessment, medication management and referral to structured therapy — in a private, non-judgmental setting.

Anesthesiology

11

Safe anesthesia, intraoperative management, post-operative recovery, and acute and chronic pain care. Our consultant anesthesiologists cover every surgical procedure, support the ICU, run the pain clinic, and lead resuscitation and emergency airway management across the hospital.
